How can we help?
Answers to common questions about our policies, pricing, and services.
Billing & Contracts
No. Our standard agreements are month-to-month to give you flexibility. However, we do offer discounts for clients who commit to an annual term, and even deeper discounts if you choose to prepay for the year. These options are handled directly through our Sales team.
We are a digital-first firm. We accept ACH (Direct Debit) and major Credit Cards. We strictly do not accept mail-in payments (Cash, Checks, Money Orders) or Peer-to-Peer payment apps (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle). You must maintain a valid digital payment method on file to prevent service interruption.
We scale with you. We review your Average Monthly Gross Revenue periodically. If your revenue moves you into a higher or lower pricing bracket, we will automatically adjust your monthly bookkeeping cost to match the appropriate tier. You may also request a pricing review at any time if your business activity changes significantly.
Taxes & Compliance
Yes, we can file your end-of-year taxes! This is offered as an optional add-on service for an additional fee. Pricing and eligibility are dependent on your specific legal structure (e.g., Sole Prop, LLC, S-Corp) and the complexity of your return.
No. FiscalWorks is a technology-enabled financial operations firm, not a CPA firm, Law Firm, or Enrolled Agent. We do not represent you before the IRS or any government agency. We will not communicate, correspond, or negotiate with government agencies on your behalf, nor will we respond to their inquiries unless strictly compelled to do so by a court order.
Yes. We require all clients to hold active, valid business licenses in the state, county, and municipality where they operate. We partner with legitimate businesses building strong foundations.
Operational Scope
Yes, you have full transparency and access to your data. However, to ensure accuracy, we enforce a 'Sole Bookkeeper' policy. This means we handle the data entry and reconciliation. We ask that you do not add, edit, or delete transactions manually, as 'too many cooks' can break the reconciliation process.
We offer Historical Catch-Up services! If you have months (or years) of unorganized data, we can perform a one-time project to bring your books up to date before your monthly subscription begins.
No. We strictly handle business finances. In fact, our terms require you to maintain separate business bank accounts. We do not service clients who commingle personal and business funds, as it compromises the 'Corporate Veil' and liability protection of your entity.
